UPDATE:
Dealer has tried everything they know to try and done some tasks FR asked of them - nothing worked. We took the RV back from the dealer and spent a week in it...realized the floors are AWEFUL - it looks terrible from every angle and there are places the substance is on tiles that go under walls or cabinets. Spoke with the dealer again and they decided they don't want to mess with the floors any more. We agree - it will be too much trouble to tear out the floors in a non-factory setting (it seems replacement is the option we have now). FR offered us $1000 to forget it and for them to wipe their hands of the situation. That's not happening. We are rallying with the dealer and probably lawyering up... Stay tuned.

Good for you. Just keep in mind once the lawyer talk starts you should refrain from posting here (if the thread is not locked) for you protection.

UPDATE:
Several conversations with Kevin @ FR.... he agreed to bring the unit back to the factory in IN to repair or replace the floors. Unit was picked up from the dealership Saturday. Supposed to get it back before Labor Day. Stay tuned.

UPDATE:
Got the coach back from Indiana this weekend. FR cleaned the floors and replaced a few tiles. Floor looks great. Looks as though they also did some exterior paint work (there were a few issues noted during the dealer PDI), and fixed a few minor interior issues as well.
Overall, it feels like the new coach we should have gotten at original delivery. Except for the transport company delivering it to our house literally on EMPTY (fumes!!), we are are cautiously happy. Taking it for a quickie weekend trip this coming weekend to check things out. Hopefully, no more issues for a while!

That's great to hear. It's unfortunate that this level of quality control is common but at least it was fixed.

Good to hear that FR responded to your problem. Thanks for keeping us updated on your situation. Good Luck with your rig and hoping you develop many happy memories in it from here on out.

NCCoachMan: Did FR tell you what they used to clean the tiles they did not have to replace? I have a small number of tiles with the same issue you originally described. Want to clean them myself rather that having work done by a dealer. Thanks!

WOW, FR did the same for us. Our floor is shiny tile and the grout was splitting all over, the ceiling covering was pulling away from the cling all along one dide, the cupboards had screws that were just not tighting, etc, etc. FR came and got it and brought it back. To bad the Dealer didn't have anyone that knew how to fix it.

No...Kevin's been real non-specific about everything they did. He says he'll give me a copy of the work order to (hopefully) show what was done, but I haven't gotten that yet. If I find out, I'll definitely share.
