I just fixed the roof seams where the front cap meets the roof. I tried Eternabond tape, and it worked great at first. Even with pouring rain there were no leaks. Three weeks later I left the campground and the Eternabond lifted at the roof corners when traveling on the highway. Highway speeds are about the same as hurricane force winds, and the turbulence at the roof corners was just too much for the Eternabond.
Last week I removed all the Eternabond and scrubbed the area with acetone. The entire seam was covered using six tubes of Dicor. The only good thing about doing this work in 90 degree heat is that the Dicor flowed and leveled out much better than when the temperature was cooler. There is still a thin line of Dicor from the edge of the Eternabond in the photo. It is just cosmetic. I'll remove that when it's not 90 degrees outside.
We have had two heavy rains, and no leaks. Hopefully this time it's fixed...
