Unless you’re racing up a significant incline and the engine downshifts to third gear.....we don’t hear engine noise. It’s road noise from the tires.

When is this noise you’re talking about?

If it is road noise then line-x or rhino liner coating in the wheel wells and underbody may help.

Some people line the dog house with dynamat. BUT, ever since the 2016 went to a 6 speed transmission, we don’t see many engine noise complaints any more.

You will need to do a search but I think I saw a post on how to do it a while back.

I was thinking of doing it anyway. You can also insulate under the floor. I was thinking of doing that becaus the footwell area gets rather toasty. No need to overwork the A/C if a little foam will help.
