I'd have to agree with all the way to the windshield. We put all sorts of things on the dash..and that kitty is really enjoying it. Do you not include counter tops as living space in a kitchen?

Cant seem to keep our dogs off the dash either. Got the Shur-Grip dash cover from Shade Pro. A bit pricey but fits really well.

So we have about 8' x 33 from the dash back. 254 sq. ft.
Then you have 2 slides which take up roughly 2/3 of the coach length...call it 22 feet and extend out about 2 feet giving another 44 sq. feet.
So...best guess would be about 300sq feet not counting the dash and assuming no drop down bunk!
Basement claims around 157 cu. ft. and figuring average 2' height that would translate to another 80 feet of living space.
Interesting to me that the 351 "only" supplies about 60sq. ft. more non basement living space than my soon to be delivered 280DS. It FEELS like so much more!

Measured from interior rear wall to dash defrost vents 34'x 8'. Front slide adds 27"x12' and bunk slide adds 17"x12'. I come up with 316 ft2 internal usable space. Probably from external dimensions would be very close to the 351.

Interesting subject huh? told-ya it would be campfire conversation.

OK - so let just take the 351 sq ft as an example and you add the cargo space which is on the specs and brochure from FR at 150'ish...
that would gives around 500sq ft as a total...would you agree with that?

Not too shaby, Id' say....but I'm not really sure. GABOY and AL seem to be more precise since they were measuring.....just saying

150ish for cargo is CUBIC footage...assuming a 2ft height to compartments...if you divide by 2 you get 75ish square feet in the basement storage.

The hell with real numbers...our estimates are WAy better!
