Stairs will not stay out

The stairs on my 328 will not stay in the out position. I am hoping it is only a faulty switch but does anyone know how I can test if it is the switch or something else?

For the time being I have disconnected them underneath so they stay out.

I would appreciate knowing if others have experienced this same issue and what the solution was.

Thanks,

Sounds like a step controller, should be in the step area and plugged to steps and wires to batteries, black plastic.

Had similar problem in my 378. I found a 5 amp fuse in the battery compartment was blown. The fuse was inline not in a fuse panel.

Being a 2015 year unit you must have a Kwikee install. The step power switch must be on to keep the steps extended with the door closed. That switch is an illuminated switch and supplies 5 volts to the step controller. If that switch is not illuminated when set to on you may have the 5 amp fuse controlling it blown (same 5 volts supplied to controller). The fuse could be in the battery control center or as mentioned in line.

rkulbok, On my 328 the switch light for my steps is already burnt out. The step stays out when the battery master switch is turned on and the stair switch is on. If you turn the ignition key on the step retracts. No matter what the other switches are in, they retract.
Are you going to Goshen
