I have a 2012 378,install the steer safe in Ruidoso NM,made the trip to Red river NM,was very happy with the change in steering,for me it was well worth the $410.00,very easy to put on.
I know many have been looking and asking about the Steer Safe as well as other types of stabilizers.
It would be interesting to hear exactly what made your driving experience better?
Have you had your front end aligned recently?
Was it difficult to control your MH straight down the highway?
Have you prior experience driving large vehicles before your MH?
I found mine had issue when new and had the front end alignment done at Ford and that solved all my concerns. Also Forest River reinbursed me for it after they approved that I needed to have it done.
Have you contacted John Armstrong at Forest River before?
The steer safe helps a lot with cross winds and large trucks passing.After i install the steer safe i was in some heavy cross winds and it made the steering a lot better.Did not have to move the steering wheel back and forth much at all.About John Armstrong ,i have call him and e mail him with no return call or e mail.I got his number from the dealer where i got my motor home.
