Steering noise/thump - concerned

Check the very first item on this forum. Had the a thunk nevry time I turned left. Checked every thing except side walls. Took a trip up the ALCAN and got to Ak with both side walls coming loose. Did the fix as reccomended in this forum and low and behold no more noise on the way back to Az.

What do you mean by side walls. I do believe something is loose in the steering components.

I did a visual inspection and see nothing obvious. Didn't get any worse coming home from Myrtle Beach. 1300 mile round trip.

I'll have to get it in to the Ford Dealer and checked our. It is under warranty.

One more thing. My noise only happens when going very slow. Example: Pulling in & out of a gas station.
