Our 360 is having all the problems with the steps as everyone reports. Our service dealer has asked Forest River about replacing them but have had no answer from them. Is there a contact at Forest River I can talk to myself?

I had to replace mine too. Unfortunately, no warranty coverage for a 2007. I'm going to buy a pair of those adjustable stabilizers to support the steps whenever we're parked. That springy movement whenever you step on them can't be good.

I installed a switch to keep the steps from going out when I open the door as we have hit many a curb and the steps may stop when you hit the curb but mine did not retract so it would do a bit more grinding then I wanted.

I am going tomorrow to get mine replaced, FR is covering this under warranty, labor and all. I wrote a very nice e-mail explaining everything, had a previous failure and replaced the bolts that were sent by LCI but had another failure and Steve authorized the replacement for me. I have to admit that Steve and April in the Warranty department do care about their customers and try to do everything they can to assist. I can not express my appreciation for what they have done for me and my wife.

Well good news steps were replaced by Nelson's RV in Boise Id and they did a great job with the installation. Steps feel much better and more sturdy. They are welded instead of bolts and seams to by a better quality part. Thank you FR for these and all of you help. Took approximately 2.5 hrs to replace.

When I had my 2011 378TS in for service not long after I bought it, the steps failed under the feet of the service tech! Not hurt, but embarrassed. I found that if you let the steps go completely out before you step on them they are much more stable.
