Steps into coach ...getting harder to maneuver IDEAS?

The steps are getting harder to handle. Added outside hand rail...it helps. The the last step up and in is a little hard. Any ideas.

After reading your post was looking at what could be done and what about adding another grab handle on the other side of the door. Attached to the wall between slideout and door then to the floor approx 2 feet inward. this will allow the slide to still come in but would give something to grab while taking the last step. Then the only way out would be a straight on approach. Hope I explained good enough to understand. psgrandpa1 if you are going to the rally could show you what I mean.

Please don't take this the wrong way as I have no idea about your particular condition why the steps are getting harder to climb.

My wife has similar issues. After evaluation by a doctor she was directed to a sports physical therapist who had her do specific exercises to build up the weak muscles in her legs. It worked wonders. My slowly exercising to walk up and down a small platform has built more muscle mass in her legs and can now walk better as well as climb stairs. I know as we get older we get more complacent and I try to do my best in getting up and down more to strength my leg muscles.
Hope things work out for you.
