Stinky Slinky Solution for 351s

Went to Lowes and Home Depot and they only had 4" in both black and white. I finally found 5" in Menards, but only in white. I'm going to undercoat it black and get a 5" cap from Lowes...they did have 5" black caps. Funny thing is that I just installed some shelves for DW and had to remove the original side rails that made the shelves adjustable. They ended up being the perfect brace for the fence post. No more storing the slinky in a container.

Awesome! where did you mount it underneath? We are trying to preplan for our 351's arrival (if it ever leaves Indiana......!) and wanted to do that mod right away!
Did you also use the gutter inside for a slide?

Thanks!
Garren

Sorry, I should have included a photo to show the location. I looked and looked for a better place to install it to no avail. Can't use the gutter method since you have to bend the hose to insert it in the tube. I originally installed it there with zip ties to make sure it was going to be easy to remove/install and it ended up being very easy. Highly recommend that location unless someone can come up with a better one.

Thanks for the picture - that looks like a good location (out of the way, yet accessible. Too bad on the slide, but it makes sense given the location (although I'm now visualizing slide with a hinge, but not sure how that would slide or be worth the hassle....)

keep those ideas coming!!!!

Yeah, the gutter slide would be icing on the cake. We never had it in our TT when we used to store them in the bumper so I don't miss it.
