Hopefully he will find out what went wrong soon.
Sorry Iggy there are only two types of shocks that will affect height, coil over shocks( have a coil spring around shock) or air shocks. Even gas shocks will not affect height.

Wanna65stang ok so chock is out of question, so possibly leaf-spring? On MH with 4000 miles on it? How do I inspect leaf-spring for defect?

Why not measure from the top the spring to a point on the chassis on both sides
if no difference it would seem to me that the outside wall of the coach has dropped.
This would be a similar to what happened before as noted in an FR forum

To check leaf spring you have to get under the MH with a good flashlight and look for any cracks in the leafs. Usually they are right above the axle in between the two spring u-bolts ( which mount the axle to the spring) you will have to look VERY!! closely at the springs as the leafs are tight together and you are going to be looking for a hairline crack.Sorry I am trying to put this as simple as possible for you . With only 400 miles on unit did you hit any pot- holes in road? Good luck

Well just got out of Ford dealership and it is the right spring that let go. 2 to 3 days before the part comes in it is under warranty. Now I got to argue with Ford and FR probably to find out who is going to pay for the damaged fender. Ford say FR probably over loaded the frame. Anyway thanks everybody for al the help you did help me sleep at night.

Please clarify what you mean the leaf spring "LET GO"?
Is Ford fixing it under warranty?
If Ford is making any statements of Forest River overloading chassis have them weight it and put the findings in writing. If not the Ford springs failed that caused the damage.
