I have a Forest River Georgetown. When I bought it, the guy explained what the 2 switches are on the left-hand side of the dashboard (above the power mirror switch). I remember that the "battery symbol" switch is for jumping the coach battery to the chassis battery (in case the chassis battery is dead), but there is another switch there with a picture of a "fuse" on it. They call it a "bypass switch" that acts as a "dead switch". My question is....what exactly does this switch do? I tried this question in another forum, but no responses, so figured I'd come directly to the Georgetown Group.
It possibly could be the coach battery disconnect. Do you have a switch near your steps to disconnect the coach batteries? Ours is by our steps but it may be at the dash on earlier models.
Thanks for the response. Yes, I have a "storage/use" switch at the steps coming into the MH. You could be right, though. I've never used it before, and, like I said, I know the guy told me 6 years ago, but I forget what he said. Thanks again,
