Switch on sink cabinet

On my used Georgetown 303 there us a three position wall switch (like in a house). Pushing it all the way down turns off the microwave. Middle and up position it is on. Any idea what else it operates?

Could the other side of the 3 position switch be for the electic part of the water heater? Are you 30 amp?

Yes 30 amp. I was thinking that may be what it was as well. Didn't see anything in the manual about it. I have seen it in pictures of other 303s and there is a label on it (no label on mine) but i can't read the writing in the pictures.

You may want to email Mike Burns @ FR. He's the warranty rep for the Georgetown Line. If he doesn't know, he'll find out the info you need.

That is typically the switch that separates the Microwave from the A/C (or 2nd A/C). Prevents you from tripping the breaker when both the A/C & Micro max draw at the same time.

Just got phone call from Mr Burns. Down is for microwave up is do electric element of water heater. Should just be a two position switch.

I echo the sentiments of others here about Mr Burns' customer service.

Mine was a three position, with center off. That way, you could shut off the microwave and the water heater.
