I learned that also with my combat showers in the early 80`s, but now I am a adult and the general/supreme leader of my unit and do what I feel is best for me.lol

I have 2 teenagers as well. I actually think it is good if it does run out of hot water....gets them out of the shower/bathroom. If they want a long shower, then they go to the campground showers.

I did put one of the oxygenics (I think that is what it is called) shower heads on and then reduced the flow (they haven't figured out that they can adjust it! ). Seems to work out pretty good.

This thread does remind me....I would rather see if I could change out the 6 gal for a 10 gal which is what I wanted, but had to settle for what came with the new coach.

We have a 10 gallon heater and never run out of hot water and do not use the gas function. As someone mentioned, I also shower about 15 minutes after the DW and there is never a problem. When we had a 6 gallon heater, we used the gas and electric and it usually kept up with us.
