The Best accessories?

Looking for some advice on what the best accessories for my new Georgetown 350XL. Looking to see if I need anything that I don't know about yet. Your help is always appreciated.

Imo if you don't already have them the two most important things to have first.

1) progressive industries ems surge guard.
2) digital volt ohm meter.

The Progressive Industries power protector has has saved me from problems several times. Multiple cases of low voltage, and once from an open neutral (very bad). Progressive makes several products including a cheaper surge only protector, and a much better model that checks for high and low voltage, reversed wiring, open neutral and grounds, as well as surge. When you hookup at a campground, the power protector checks the incoming power, and if all is good, a big relay engages to pass the power through to your RV. It then continues to monitor power, and will disconnect if it detects a problem.

Here's the one I have, they also make a portable version, and one with a remote display:

Also get a good sewer hose. The free one the dealer includes in the kit is worth exactly that. Rhino hose is a good one, and is available at Wal-Mart and Amazon for about $30. A clear sewer extension is also helpful to know when the tank has been flushed clean.

I agree the progressive surge protector is a must have. Get the full featured one, worth the extra money. On recent trip to Texas had two different power sources with low voltage that I would otherwise not have known about.
Another nice add-on I recommend is some sort of step stabilizer from Camping World. I would recommend two, one on each side of the step. They can make those steps rock solid and save a lot of wear and tear on those step frames.

Not sure what options you got, but this is what I "added" to mine shortly after purchase:
1. Outside TV, DVD and Amplifier in the underside bay
2. Stick-on hooks in the shower as there are limited places to hang things
3. 2 more additional headphones so more than one kid can watch the same DVD in the bunks
4. 50 amp extension and "cut" the existing 50 amp cord to about 8 feet
5. I agree on the sewer hose upgrade and add an extension (I bought two full sets as it wasn't that much more than a 5' extension and now I have 30')
6. Front TV (above driver/passenger)
7. LED outside awning lights (yours may be standard)
8. Grill since these don't seem to come with a grill
9. Carpet/Mat for under awning area
10. Obvious dishes/plasticware/etc.
11. Stone to put in oven
12. Set of tools (wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers)
13. DVD player for master bedroom
14. Extra baskets for pantry (or remove them and build something nice as some folks have done)
15. Ice cube maker (my 350 didn't come with one in the freezer so we bought the big one that sits anywhere and makes tons of ice)
16. Folding tables for the living area when sitting on the sofa and eating (unless the 4 seat dinette will handle everyone)
17. Folding chairs for outside

I'm sure I'm missing some stuff.......

Hey, that's not funny, that's what I looked like after removing the cap with the black tank valve left open.

Allen wrench set, screw driver set, regular socket wrench set for all the screws that will work loose. Bungee cords, and assorted straps in case your stairs fall off and you have to tie them up. I also like those grommet tabs that slot into the awning for lights. Since they are grommets they don't have to be removed for the awning to roll up

"50 amp extension and "cut" the existing 50 amp cord to about 8 feet" Whats the thought process behind this? Just so the cord is easier to handle? Just thought id clarify.

Joe,
I bought a small Sony DVD for around $20 and it fits sideways in the top drawer. I ran the wires over the back of the drawer and into the TV. When we use the DVD we open the drawer and turn the player 90 degrees and put it on top of the drawer. A little goofy, but it actually works quite well.

I got tired of trying to thread 30' of 50amp cable through a little hole. This weekend, as example, the power post is only a few feet from the left rear of the RV so I don't even need to plug in what I had cut off.
