I am sorry to hear that you have had a lot of problems with the structure on your Forest River product, I thought I was the only one that had issues with the structure, (Two new 2006-8314ss's in the same model year)- sent the first one back after 8 days, the second one was ok until one week after the warrenty ran out, and now that one is in the junkyard after Mother Nature did her thing to it.

It's funny that you mention Fleetwood, that was my first camper we had bought in 2000 ( travel trailer) had it 5 years and not one major problem. We are camperless right now because of Harricane Irene last September, but looking. We have one more show in October and if We don't buy then after looking all year, then we may just get out of it all together....It's a shame we really like camping and enjoy the people who camp around us, but the bottom line is money, the price go's up and the quality stays the same.

Good luck with your new rig......

I'm about ready to jump ship too.
This 2008 Georgetown 373 is made with very poor
workmanship and is just slaped together
all the hoses and wireing are to big for it
so they just run it back and forth and tie the extra with tie ties.
I had to reglue some of the trim,
When the A/C runs it spits out some dryed glue bits
I wonder whats comming apart in the duct work.

How slopey can you get?
What a peice of junk.
They should have recalled all the seat covering
because it started to peal off about 6 months after we
got it (new) they replaced the 2 front seats but after the 1 year mark
they would not replace the 2 chairs & 2 ottomans & 1 sofa
they look like crap now.
I guess i'll have to pay to replace that. Thanks Forest River.
Its just a junkey RV
I paid cheap over $100,000, and thats what i got.
I've beem looking at Newmar RV's
and Itasca
I don't think very many Georgetown customers
buy another one after there first one.
After reading this blog for a few months
outhers have had alot worse problms with there
RV. than me.
I guess i've been luckey
Thanks for letting me vent!!
another lost customer
.....But thats just me
