Tire Air Pressure for 351

All righty - I am a reader and re-reader and re-re-reader. Just stepped up to or first Class A - a Georgetown 351.

I am trying to boil this out specifically to the 351 - wish we are really enjoying.

Knowing that tire pressure is a really critical item for handling and riding, we keep a close eye on the current levels. We have read multiple threads but I wanted to pass this on specific to 351.

My 2015 351 came with flex steel extensions on the rear. I bought the PORTER-CABLE CMB15 150 PSI 1.5 Gallon Oil-Free Fully Shrouded Compressor and it handles the air pressure easily. BUT

To actually air up the tire you must remove the wheel covers and even then - WOW.

So after reading around I bought 135degree steel extensions for the front and outsider rear. Here are the results.

Front - you need 2" straight extension only - no 135s need. Camping World has 'em.

Rear - you need the 135degree extension and now I am adding 2" extensions to move the stems out where they can be aired easily.

Once again recommend 135degree extension plus 2" extension out rear and just a 2" extension on front.

Just my input - but trying to boil it specific to the Georgetown 351.

Makes my head hurt some that it doesn't come that way. It costs about $30. Without this addition the only to check the air is removing the shiny wheels - ugh. BUT so far only encountered these types of ankle bitters. Other than these - we love the 351.

They come on the rigs that have the 22.5" tires like on my XL model.

Thanks Iggy - I needed that. Almost went with the 378 but got such a good deal on the 351 I couldn't justify the $15k (plus I like the bunks for grand kids).

Still don't know why, if it is a recognized as a need, for $30 it simply isn't done.

NOTE to new buyers, it does't sound like a big deal but is a big enough deal I would have you dealer install before driving away.
