After reading many forums, I decided to purchase the TST 507 TPMS for my GT 351DS. Here are my issues:
1. Front chrome tire covers prevent installation of sensor on valve stem. In fact, the cover holes do not allow installation of a valve stem extension. Other than cutting a notch in tire cover, has anyone found a creative solution?
2. Dealer installed flexible extended valve stems for inner rear tires. These valve stems seem to be a 6-8 inch flexible metal mesh sheath. Any comments or advice as to the effect of installing the sensors at the end of these stems? I am concerned that the weight, albeit it slight, of the sensors on the valve stem extensions at highway speeds.
I also have 351ds. I installed valve extensions to all 4 tires that weren't done. I used angled 45degree on front. You have to remove the wheel covers to secure properly. Then put covers back on and you can easily access the extensions to add/check air.
My dealer used the same type of extension on the rear. They also riveted a clip to the wheel cover so they wouldn't flop around.
My front wheel covers have barely enough room to mount them without the extension. I would be temped to modify the wheel cover, but my coach is 11 years old.

I have the exact same issue on my 328TS. Extensions were already installed on the dualies, so no problem there, but with the other 4 tires it is impossible to check or correct the pressure.
How hard is it to remove the wheel covers? I was planning on having valve extensions installed by the dealer but if I can do it myself that would be great.

Thanks
Not hard. But I bought the socket from OReillys to use with my 1/2" wrench as the T handle that came with coach would just twist and bend when trying to get off the covers.
I also have the flexible hose with wire mesh on it. You can purchase spring loaded wire or rubber stopper type hose retainer clips that keep the hose from flopping. Unfortunately, the ones I found were $5.50 each with $11.00 shipping. Search "valve stem retainer".
We can get the 507 sensors on the front tires, but it's a challenge. This is what we did for the rear duallys, had a local tire chain install, was about $150 including labor.
