Electrical engineer here. Volts times amps = watts. The only efficiency you gain is because of voltage drop and if the wire is sized properly is minimal for either voltage. Only disadvantage, which you already mentioned, is the max size of the heater for 120

You live in Tulsa and unit is in a building. No need to winterize. Drain water and water pump filter bowl.

I live in mid Mo and my last two campers just drained all water at low point, drained water heater and water pump filter bowl. Never put RV anti-freeze in the lines and never blew them out. Never had a water line problem with those two campers. Campers stayed outside. Water lines and water tank, contained inside units.

The one I have now, I add RV anti-freeze to the lines. Not a big deal and easy to do. Do not think I 'need' to.
