Anyone on here towing a smart car,we have to put bungie cords over the hood the wind turbulence pulls it off, need ideas on pins or nice looking straps to hold it on

We have been towing a Smart Car behind our Georgetown for approximately one year. No issues with airflow pulling up the hood. We do use a bungie cord to keep the steering wheel straight. I have read a lot about towing Smart Cars and yours is the first comment I have read about hood issues. Could the two hood latches in the plastic grill be out of adjustment?
