Toilet manufacturer and adding a sprayer

We are still anxiously waiting the call that our new GT5 has arrived at the dealer. I believe there was a bit of a delivery backlog due to some of the extreme weather across the Midwest. Anyway, I don’t remember if the installed toilet is a Dometic or Thetford. (I think Thetford.)

I ask because one thing we noted is that manufacturers don’t seem to install anymore is a toilet sprayer. We always liked that in our old motorhome. It made it easy to keep the bowl clean and not use a lot of water. I think they have kits to add these and I am thinking of having the dealer just add it before we pick it up.

Thoughts?

If it's a Dometic 310 such as came in my GT you won't need a sprayer.

Thanks. I guess we’ll wait and see then.

When I installed the Dometic 310 I throw out the sprayer we had with the Theford. Much better toilet and no sprayer needed.

Sprayer

Our Cedar Creek Champagne came with a sprayer. We love it. Hardly ever need to use the brush.

Thanks. I was just looking today and narrowed the search to that model, which happens not only to be the cheapest, but there's one in stock at my local hardware store. Whoodathunkit!!

If you want to add the sprayer to a Dometic toilet it can be done. You will need to purchase a Part #385311124 Hand Spray Kit, and Part#385230335 Vacuum Breaker.

We had a sprayer on out old camper. This one has a Dometic 310 toilet and we seldom need to use a brush.

BUT, I thought Id give you a direct answer, not just tell you that you do not need one if you decide you want it.

Thanks! I'll file this away for when the time comes.

Right now I need it to stop snowing and having crazy weather so they can deliver the motorhome from Indiana to Pennsylvania.
