Toilet water pressure
I seem to have a problem with water pressure in the toilet. The bowl is slow to fill and no pressure when I flush it. The water pressure is normal throughout the rest of the MH. This first occured on a recent trip when I was dry camping, but did not change once I hooked up shore water. Any ideas? I believe it's a sealand toilet in a 2007 Georgetown 359TS.

Turn off the water and remove the water supply line af the base of the toilet. I bet it is plugged with debris. Then check the anode rod in the hot water heater. It is probably corroded and needs to be replaced. If it needs to be replaced be sure and get a small pressure wand (found in the vicinity of the new anode rod at your local Rv supply store) and flush the hot water tank until the gunk stops coming out. My 2011 Georgetown. 378 was only a year old when it happened to me.
Good luck and happy trails

I would suggest that you purchase a shut off valve and install it on the water line leading to your toilet if it doesn't already have one. You will then be able to disconnect the line and clean it out without draining your whole system. From experience, you will be doing this clean out with some regularity.

Had to do it several times on our 08 Flagstaff 831RLSS and we always had a clean filter in the system. I always found shavings from the piping in it and we had the unit over 4 yrs. First time it was cleaned was on the way to FL the first yr when it started trickling. Stopped at a Camping World in GA and they charged $110. Did it myself from then on. You have to take the entire toilet out to get to the valve, but that is very easy. Unhook the supply line and 2 nuts on the base and lift it out. Plug the hole with a plastic sack filled with a towel and use the throwaway latex gloves. Pull the plastic tube on the discharge end and you will see the debris. Also look in the inlet side of the valve. All total, takes about 30 minutes start to finish.

Here is what is wrong and how to fix it.

Also remove your hot water anode and flush it out real good with one of these.

They are all pretty much the same.
The new valve had a larger hole in it than the old one.

Iggy, I don't think you have a Thetford toilet. My 2011 378TS has a dometic and has worked great for the last year and eight months.

You are correct. Dometic. But I expect to cleanout the lines after a few uses especially the sink strainers.

We never had any problems with anything in water lines. We did have alot of foam coming out of the A/C vents until all of it was blown out after a couple of trips. By the way our 378TS has been great. Only a couple of minor problems and we have been full-timing in our for a year and eight months now. We love it. We got what we paid for.

To everyone who contributed to this thread, thank you. This morning I drained the hotwater tank, flushed it out, replaced the annode rod, took the valve of the toilet, found the filter was really clogged, cleaned it out, replace everything, checked for leaks and things are fine. I now have good water pressure again. The whole job took less than an hour.
Glad I'm on this forum.

You can now answer the next one who asks about low water pressure to toilet.

And think of the money you've saved by not having to have a service shop do this! Plus it is a good feeling to DIY and see the results....
