Love the license plate. We just got a Rubicon Unlimited and will be getting the towing hardware soon. Do you use supplemental brakes? Ours is ~4,300 lbs. curve weight and seems pretty light to need the brake kit.

Al......

We all can TRY to be careful out there, but what about the other guy??????

There's nasty fines if the authorities see things their way, not to mention what your insurance might say if you're caught without supplemental braking.

we have the Blue Ox towing system and InvisiBrake, super easy to hook up, I generally do the hook up by myself it takes me less the 5 minutes. The other day my DH was going to pick up the Georgetown, he had my Jeep, he commented that this would be the first time that he was doing the set up he hoped he would do it right.

Most states require supplemental braking by law. Each state varies a little on the minimum weight. Most starting at 3000lbs. I had it installed before my first tow as we crossed 5 state lines when we purchased and picked up coach. Want to pull legal but also as a safety thing. Not to mention with the brake system you have zero load applied to the coach. So preserves coaches brakes longer.
