We tow a Mini CooperS automatic on a tow dolly.

Manual transmission cars can USUALLY be towed 4 wheels on the ground with a tow bar.
Automatic cars USUALLY can't, they need the drive wheels on a dolly.

Before buying the Cooper I spent hours reseaching the + and - of towing with a tow bar and a tow dolly. Ended up with an automatic on a tow dolly.
Either method will set you back $1500. OR more. The dolly takes very little setup the bar requires a lot of setup on the car but is easer to attach to the motor home.

The owners manual for your 500 will tell you if and how it can be towed.

We tow a Subaru Outback & have no issues, but your fuel mileage will take a dive. We just keep out speed under 65 an roll on.

I have a 2013 Georgetown and tow a 2009 Jeep Liberty 4 down. As long as you have a disconnect switch for the driveshaft your ok. All wheel drives are a no no to tow 4 down which I think is the way to go. I don't even know the Jeep is behind me. Good luck with everything!

Yes he has contacted me directly and I have given him all the information and pictures I have.

It is so easy I have to make sure it is still attached.
Actually the small weight is noce an d no need for any brake controller being under 3,000 lbs as most state laws allow.
