Transmission Problem

As I sit on the side of the road waiting 2 more hours on a tow truck, I thought I would relieve my boredom by telling ya'll about our latest adventure. While driving through the desolate brush country of south Texas, I noticed a bluish cloud of smoke behind the rv. I pull over and look underneath and transmission fluid is leaking onto the exhaust system. Ford Rv Roadside Assistance 18004443311 is being very helpful in getting us a tow as I don't feel like we should continue driving. I will let the forum know the issue after we get to shop.

If you are ever in Central to South Texas and need Ford warranty work, you will find the only Ford shop who will do it is Bluebonnet Ford in New Braunfels. The upcoming 120 mile tow should be interesting.

So, I will continue pacing around looking at the beautiful spring roadside flowers with a great view of the Nueces river and be thankful I have all the comforts of my rv all while I got no where I have to be. How's that for staying positive?

Update. RV is finally ready. The shop had to replace the torque convertor. Ford RV Roadside Assistance and Bluebonnnet Motors provided excellent service. Ford told me to send them our hotel receipts. We will see how that works out.
