Travel to NS

I am leaving in two weeks, from SC, to travel to Cape Breton. For the worldly travelers, which border crossing is best for a motor home, 2011 Georgetown 360. Any particulars I need to know before I hit the border? All assistance appreciated.

Two crossing will get you there. However Houlton is many extra miles of driving. The Calais/St. Stephen route is great from Bangor. After you are in Canada you will drive through Saint John and then onto Moncton. But before you leave the St. Stephen area and if you have the time, check out St Andrews, and a must see is the Island of Grand Manan. Leave the rig on the mainland and take the ferry over. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and the best sea air.
