Turning captains chairs around....the final word.

I challenge anyone with a Georgetown model with captains chairs that turn all the way around, to seek out anyone with a Georgetown model with seats that WON'T turn all the way around, and use their own method for rectifying this problem. Maybe something to bring Georgetown owners together at Goshen???

This topic has been opened more times than I can count.

I still profess that the mounting location of the seat pedestals is totally arbitrary during the building of the Georgetown part onto the Ford F53 chassis. The distance between the seats and the dash and the sidewall is different depending on the floor plan model, and causes problems for some, and not for others.

We can't make Goshen this year, but I know there's a number of you that are going.

How 'bout it.....someone out there up for the challenge?

I agree there may be some variations but in general I find that moving the chair forward and pushing the seat back forward with the recliner lever makes things work.
