TV coax

I have once again tried to contact FR about a diagram showing where the tv coax in my moho is ran. Hopefully this time I will get a reply, but not too optimistic..There seems to be n o rhyme of reason on how it is set up.my righ is a2009 Georgetown 340TS. We bought it used last year at Kennedale Camper Sales in Kennedale Tx.(avoid this dealer ,the only thing they were really good at was cover up)Hopefully I will get the tv situation cleared up..

Each model and year may be different but basically this is what I have

1. I have a coax I can hook up from a campground into my rig in the rear divers side compartment.

2. I also have a coax on the roof above the passenger seat that is for future Satellite dish. Located under a false vent cap on roof.

3. My over the air TV antenna on roof also goes into rig and goes thru a 12 volt power booster box that must be turned on to get over the air TV. It is a small button and LED light usually mounted above and in the rear of the cabinet where all the coax's come together.

4. In my cabinet where all the coaxs come in their is a switch box.
a. It has input from roof TV antenna.
b. It has input from campground cable from my rear compartment.
c. It has a Satellite input from future roof SAT dish.

5. This switch box has a slider that you can select what input you want to select.

6. This switch box has one output to TV's.
If you have 2 TV and possible an external TV antenna plug in one of your exterior bays this will be it goes to 3 locations.

7. Now the hidden parts.
You may have a hidden coax splitter that goes out and splits 2 or 3 ways.
One to each TV location. It may be located behind the cabinet wall where all the coax's come in and go out from the switch.

This is the best generic description I can give you as well as a basic one line diagram. But no exact locations of anything as all models are not the same design inside.

Hope this helps for you to understand the system.
Good luck and come back and ask more questions if you need.
John

cable

Thanks Iggy,so far I have not found a slider or selector switch of any kind..Since this is a not new to me unit there is no telling what the previous owner did..I do have a cable sat box in the upper cabinet over the chair behind passenger seat..there are no coax in or out of this .It appears to mainly operate the DVD player.

1. Have you ever used the roof antenna? Has it worked or not?

2. Do you ever hook up at a campground for TV? Ha sit worked or not?

Unfortunately I haven't fooled with it since last summer..right now it is in the rv barn and hooked up to a cable box in the front tv..but the back tv is getting some channels off the cable box but is not connected to it.I don't understand why..I did use antenna and it worked and I do not remember if it worked properly on cable.I will post more when I really figure out what it is doing .I would like to know where the splitters and switches are located cause somehow I have to be able to change from cable to antenna..I am confused by the box that runs off the DVD player but will dig around in the back cabinets looking for more equipment..good news is the TV in this rig lifts up up a hinge so good access behind it..
