TV Mod, A Must Have

Both LCD TVs are flat mounted and do not tilt. The one in the living room is no big deal, but the one in the bedroom really bugged me.

Bought one of these for around 12 bucks

Thank God I decided to do this mod because the TV was originally mounted with two wood screws.

See where they were mounted on the TV side...one one side only

Now it is solid and tilts

"TV was originally mounted with two wood screws."

I'm not surprised, kinda makes ya wonder how the rest of the RV is put together.
Nice bracket and install job.

Yeah, I'm starting to wonder. I hope it will last at least 10 years and on the next one we are going to go all out and get the best quality rated one.

I just found that one of the map lights in the cockpit is out...the driver's one. I checked and there isn't 12v going up to it so it's not going to be an easy fix. That means that a cable is lose somewhere....arrggghh!

I was thinking about doing the same thing. Does the TV get in the way when you walk by?

After you've had a few cold ones, probably. That's the wife's side of the bed though

I need to find a mount like that so I can go from a 19 inch to a 32 inch because the one on the wall in the trailer is to small to fit the 32 inch.

Where did you get that one?

The drivers map light does not turn on with the map light switch, it turns on with the dash dimmer

How did you attached the brackets to the wall? Seem like you would
have to reinforce the wall to attached the brackets to the wall to make it secure.

Three big wood screws that came with the bracket kit. There is enough meat in the wall to torque them really good. It's going nowhere now.
