So...my led strip basically broke in half after about 11 months. This past week I pulled it down and cleaned all of the adhesive off the side of the RV. I was going to just purchase a replacement from recpro but have decided to go with this alternative. It was far cheaper and looks like a better light option and coverage. (It angles down and spreads out) I think I am safe using adhesive backing to secure the wire mold with the 12 volt feed in it. My question is what do you guys think about securing the light itself with some double backing tape like VHB? I heard of folks using that to secure solar panels so I would think it would withstand holding up the light. The light I want to mount weighs under a pound and is made of metal. I was trying to avoid using screws for any of this.
