Under awning lights

I have read through the thread on awning lights but I would like to know where folks are pulling the DC power from when doing a permanent install on a Georgetown motorhome. Pics would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks in advance and have a wonderful Memorial Day holiday and be safe.

I was hoping someone had installed lights under their awning and would share some pics of how they did the wiring.

Marty, I will try and get you a pic tomorrow. Essentially I ran my led strip along the edge back at the RV. As I passed over the top of the outside door light, I installed a "T" in the lights and dropped a connector down to the existing light fixture. Drilled a small hole in the top and fed wires inside, Connect to the existing bulb socket for the 12v supply. My leds operate when I turn on the porch light. Make sure all connections are water proofed.

Here is pic of tie in to outside light. Still looking for some wire molding small enough for it. couple of dabs of silicon for right now.

Here is where I bought the parts. For sealer, I used liquid tape.
