Unknown wire
We have the RCA surround sound system in our 378 GT and there is an extra wire red and white running through the coach to the surround sound compartment. Does anyone know what this is for?

Red and white are normally left and right audio. Might be to hook a CD player or something audio. Yellow is video. I am assuming RCA type jacks. Now if you are talking about a red/white twin wire, as in speaker wire, you are probably going to have to chase it. Good Luck.

Many units are pre-wired for outside speakers, but if you don't order the outside speakers, the wires are just left in-place. Could that be it?

Hi, nice to see that someone else found that wire not being used..turns out it is for a roof mounted sattelite system should you choose to install someday. It is a power cable for the unit to rotate or so the dealer service manager says............
