Upgrade/MOD to Jack Antenna

I just installed the Jack antenna on my Georgetown 378TS XL.
I removed the OEM dish and used the existing conduit hole on roof.
The thickness of the roof is 4 1/4" and had to use the optional extension arm that came with kit. The roof layer is fiberglass sheet, 1/4" plywood, approx. 2" foam, another 1/4" later of plywood then more foam then the interior soft ceiling material.
I spent about 3 hours doing this but spend much time making sure I can use existing hole and where it came out inside above drivers seat.

I patched the original 3 old OEM dish mounts with Eternabond tape. I cut circles thinking it would be better than squares.

Looks good and works great! The manual directional LED finder in base inside works like it suppose and picked up gobs of channels locally.

If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures just ask.

Locally I can tell as I'm about 40 miles from the TV antennas but picked up all of them. Which I guess is good. I had problems with the old flat dish locking in an keeping good signals for distance. At least now I can turn it to the direction I want and tune in that channel using the LEDS.
We will see next trip out someplace in the boonies.

The biggest surprise was the thickness of the roof. I expect 2 1/2" but 4 1/4" is substantial.

If Administrators think this should be moved to the MOD area that's OK.

The height of the antenna is 11" and it is below the height of the AC unit.
