Vessel sink

We have a 2013 Georgetown 377xl. The vessel sink exploded had anyone had this issue? Also the vinyl on our furniture is coming off. Plus the darkening shade on the curtains is deteriorating.. just curious if anyone else had these issues? We have only had this for 6 years..

Yep the one on my 2015 exploded just like that. There have been others that have had the same thing happen. Mine was replaced under warranty but if it happens again I will jut go to one of them home stores and replace it with a metal one. Can’t help you with the shade or furniture. I know that they do have replacement covers for the seats from the seat manufacturer. Search the forum and you will find some info on that.

This is fairly common. When tempered glass is made the process creates very high stresses in the material. The slightest flaw or scratch can eventually result in an explosion.

Our curtains did the same thing, bought new ones at walmart, furniture did that last year, replaced them last month myself. Sink no trouble.
Ours is a 2013 378.

Thank you for the info. Seat covers maybe our only option. May have to buy all new furniture along with replacing the booth along with new curtains. Yes, we will end up having to replace the sink ourselves. Metal one sounds good. Very disappointing though.

It all looks very NICE when you first purchase it, but the quality of the materials used is not really on par with the price you pay. Those Glass bowls ? some things are not designed to withstand the vibrations of being in a TT, MH. They were designed for residential use and were never intended to be subject to those conditions.
