Visiting Blue Ox

My beautiful wife decided that we needed to be more environmentally friendly and somehow offset our gas-guzzling Georgetown with a Plug-in HEV car. So she bought a Ford C-Max Energi. I have to say it's a pretty cool car. Although 0 to 60 MPH could be measured with a sundial.

What we learned was Blue Ox shows a baseplate for the C-Max HEV on their website. This does not fit the C-Max Energi. So I'm going to make the 800 mile trip to Blue Ox in Pender Nebraska to have them make one next month. They tell me it takes 2-3 days. They are going to provide me with a loaner car during my stay. So my question is, what is there to do in Pender Nebraska?

Are you on a C-Max forum?

This one seems to be the most popular.

I'm about a week from finishing hooking up our cmax hybrid.

We bought a C-Max SE and really like it. We had our base plate installed at etrailer.com near St. Louis. They did a great job. The car tows like a dream and even though we don't get quite the mpg of the Energi, it's still pretty awesome.

Congrats on the car and good luck with the install. :-)
