Warranty Work

I purchased a new 2010 Georgetown a few weeks ago. Had the maiden vovage this past weekend and have a few minor issues. As I don't live near the dealer where I purchased the unit do I need to call Forest River before I get the work done by another dealer. If so does someone have a telephone number that I can call? Thanks.

I had the same situation and Forest River let me take my motor home to a dealer close to my home. I had to pay that dealer and then send the bill to Forest River for reimbursement. This worked out very well and Forest River was very accommodating.

You don't need to have your unit serviced by the dealer you bought it from. Find the closest Forest River motorhome dealer and call them up and ask them if they will do warranty work on your Georgetown. They will likely say yes though they can refuse. I have not had any problems doing this.

DO NOT assume EVERYTHING will be under warranty. DO NOT take your trailer to any Joe Blow, have him do the work, and expect to get re-imbursed for every penny of your bill. Contact either your selling dealer or Forest River FIRST.
