Wash and Wax

If you are near Apple Valley, CA., a local hand car wash will wash your RV for $1.00 per foot, or wash and wax for $2.00 per foot. I had mine done yesterday, they charged $74.00 and did a great job. They even waxed the roof and all the covers.

This is cheaper than most places I have ever been to, even Laughlin and Yuma. They used Mequire's liquid wax. They put four guys on it, and had it finished in a little over an hour.

I would wonder if the wax was appropriate for the roof. (From the chemical point of view.)

Texas Bob, the roof is fiberglass, so wax is good for it. The body has full body paint, they used wax for painted surfaces on it, and fiberglass wax for the roof.
