Thank you all for the info, I called the dealership this morning and told them to order the Splendide vented model, I hope I'm as happy with it as all of you are.

Hi Iggy, have you found that the sheets are still in within the clothes when drying is complete, or do they end up going either down the drain or out the vent?

This is not Iggy, but if you are talking about dryer sheets for softening, I rarely use them. Mostly I use Downey, but on the occasion when I have used them they are still in the tub when the cycle completes.

Take a look at any Camping World catalog. The vent is not unique to the Splendide. The vents come in painted or chrome.

I have always found the sheets within the clothes.
We continue to use them as they are very convenient and as far as I can see safe to use. We have been doing this since April 2012 and probably used the washer/dryer at least 50 times.

Mine is still on back order as well, they told me that I should have it by the end of the month, I hope.
