We were told not to use dryer sheets, is this anything like using them?

Who said that and why?
These are Detergent, softener and anti static sheets.
Most people think these are just dryer sheets but you need to read more about them.

Still wondering why someone said no to these in RV Combos?

I just sent them an email asking if they are ok.
Should have a reply answer next week.

Thanks

The guy from Camping World that installed it told us that. I will wait and see what reply you get back. Just curious, it would be great if they work. Let us know.

All I got back was the email says not to use.
I replied and asked for a better answer and he replied saying that too much suds will effect the washer.
I guess this guy has never used these sheets because they don't give off a lot of suds. Actually I think these give off very little because they are for small washers like this.
So anyway we will continue to use.

Just to be clear they are not just a dryer sheet.
It is a measurement of soap added to the cloth for the wash cycle and the final dryer smell.

The Splendide website says not to use a dryer sheet. It does say to use a liquid fabric softener which will allow the clothes to fall freely from the drum after high spins and tumbles freely during the dry cycle. With the ventless model, moisture is removed from the laundry in the form of steam which is condensed back into water and pumped out the drain. The ventless model is the one I am considering. Does anyone have this particular one?

Here is what Walmart has advertised.
Purex Complete 3-in-1 Laundry Sheets - Walmart.com
Great product, use at campground laundry mats all the time, so convenient

I have the vented type and I think it is the better of the two models.

RV Chick, we got the vented model and love it. Did some research and got some bad reviews on the ventless model. Just check it out before buying. Good luck!

Well Iggy, still don't know what to do? I may try the sheets if you are using them. Went to Walmart today but could not find them. Is that where you get yours?

Also have the ventless version, works fine, best part no hole in wall with vent cover not matching the side paint.

So glad to hear someone has the ventless model cause the DH is not wanting to cut any holes. I didn't think of having one installed by the dealer before we picked up our XLR. I have read lots of reviews and didn't read anything bad on vented vs non vented.....only comments on being careful not to overload, or over dry, etc.

My vent was installed close to the white paint. Not that noticable.
Yes probably will have to paint.

Iggy, looked at Walmart and 3 other grocery stores and can't find the 3 in 1 sheets you use. Where do you get them?
