Washer/dryer combo

I have a 2013 Georgetown XL 378 that is plumbed for a washer/dryer combo, however with the closet being on an angle I'm not sure one will fit. Is there anyone that has one or any recommendations is greatly appreciated.

Yes it will. Here is mine in my 2012 378TS.
It is plumbed but you still have to attach to hot and cold water lines inside hot water tank area. I also got the outside vented version.
Yes it is tight but my dealer installed not me.

I also have the Spendide but the 7100 ventless (no holes in wall) in the slanted closet. Must be careful however, other makes look similar but some are too large to fit in that compact space. Iggy's piping wasn't connected to mains, mine was and no plumbing required.

Just wandering Iggy, do you have your doors off to make this work or can you close them. Thanks for your help.

Well it's in! The washer/dryer fit with no room to spare. Made the wife happy and that's what matters. Thanks to all for your help.

XL, you're gonna love have a washer\dryer. We got one in our fiver and is one of the best additions I can think of. You can pack 1/3 the clothes and do wash every few days a lil' at a time at your convenience.

Iggy & rattleNsmoke: I have 2006 370TS with a Majestic MJ9000V washer/dryer combo. The unit really shakes when clothes go into the spin cycle at the end of washing. If there are NO clothes in unit the spin cycle is smooth. Maybe I am loading clothes wrong? Has anyone had this problem?

Guess not enough softener. Will allow clumping like that.

So happy to hear that your wife loves the Splendide! We own the XLR Thunderbolt and it has the washer/dryer prep in the cargo area. I am ordering the ventless version, and have read great reviews!

You will get a little wobble most of the time. If it is excessive you need to check your levelers'stabilizers are on solid ground or you have way to much clothes in the washer/dryer. My owners manual says don't wait until you have no clothes left yo wear. Do smaller amounts regularly because you still have a small dryer element and it ususaly takes over an hour to wash and dry.

We have the Splendie combo and my wife feels if she puts more clothes in it will shake a little more. Try keeping your loads smaller and do more loads. Hope this helps you.

X2 what XL 378 said. We have the seperate stackables and find it cleans clothes better if you don't overload it shakes a lil' less.

We have the Splendide in our 378. Wife will not leave the driveway without it. Use the dryer on towels and underwear, pants and shirts get hung on a rod in the shower.

johnnypal, Thanks for the input. Does your unit shake a lot when going thru the high speed spin cycle at the end of the washing cycle?

We had one in our Bounder before this one and it seemed to shake harder than this one. This one shakes also but that lets you know your wash is almost done.

Something to pass on to all who have washer dryers.
Here is a no mess cloth that has soap and softener in it.
It is all you need to do a load

Here is what Walmart has advertised.
