Not at all - in fact on our old 5er I believe it actually added a layer of protection to the decals! And on our full body pain Coach it is a mirror like finish!
It's a liquid so it does not gum up on the edge of the decal like wax AND unlike wax (and using a buffer) there is almost no chance of lifting the decal.
You apply the solution to a pad on the applicator and rub on the surface, flip the applicator over and buff off with the dry pad. The applicator is screwed in to a extendable pole so you have no need for ladders or other stepstools - the pole extends to 13'.
Really, this is the best stuff out there for both decals and FBP exteriors. (and NO I don't work for the company, I am just over the moon happy with this product
)
