We get our PDI inspection before we sign the final papers

Well it has been three years in the hunt and the final day is here. We will get out PDI inspection.
Both of us have our check lists from the forums to use as we go through our inspection. This is a new 2016 Georgetown XL 377 Black Diamond Edition. Midnight paint. When our list of repairs are set after the walk though we will work with service to get those items fixed. It traveled here in California from the Forrest River Facility a total of 2270 miles on the chassis. So we know there will be some items loose or broken. We did not plan our first trip yet as we need to finish its parking place at our house.
As soon as we can we will post pictures.
So tomorrow we become FROG members. And will look forward to seeing you all on the road.

My dealer presented the final paperwork while we were doing our PDI. I said, nay nay, we'll sign if we accept the FW. They looked hurt; too bad.

Glad to see you are doing it right! PDI always first, get an IOU for the items that need addressing in writing! Happy travels!

I second that. I did our PDI on our first camper in April 2015. Seeing it set up in all it's glory, and standing in it and realizing it was mine was similar to the feeling i got when I had the keys slid across the table at settlement when buying a home. I took a nice deep breath in, and relished the moment. Not ashamed, I have "Camperpride".

Ok I am a newbie and although we have had a Georgetown 350 DS for 8 years I do not know what some of the terms are here on this forum. It took me awhile but I figured out that a TV was not a television but a Tow Vehicle. I still do not know what a PDI is or a DW or a HW. I am sorry if I seem like an idoit, but I just dont know. Thanks for any help.

Congrats on your new Georgetown! Hopefully you will be out traveling and enjoying your new toy soon.

We are having a campout at Calico Ghost Town in mid October. Check out the FROG event forum if you are interested. The more FR members the merrier!

Well here are the first pictures we took at the PDI inspection. Dealer was great. Very patient with us and all of out requests. Information flowed freely. Our tech very knowledgeable with our coach and its workings Only had some minor issues which they will correct over the next dew days.
We are so excited to finally get here. And we are planning several short trips to shake her down.
Thanks to this forum and its users and iRV forums for the great information on all of the PDI lists really helped out.
More photos to follow. Unfortunately we can't clear our schedule to be at Calico but we look forward to the next one

Beautiful rig! Your pics confirm what I've said since I've owned my GT, That Georgetown has the nicest gel coat exteriors of any gas rigs on the market. Enjoy and Good Luck.
