What do you use for an entryway door window blind? (2020 GT5)

Every window in this thing has one or more blinds on it except the 19.25" x 9.5" entryway door window. I've been taping a paper towel to the inside screen door but that is just hokey. There's almost 2" between the glass and the inside of the door where something could nicely go.

Any thoughts and/or suggestions would be appreciated. My DW is getting tired of me wasting paper towels.

Thanks,

Ray

I added a simple shade from Home Depot. Been up for 2 years with no issues.

My wife made a curtain with two loops at the top. The two loops attach to 3M Command hooks above the door.

I hung a screen door cross bar near the top of the screen door and hang a towel over it. But, www.zarcor.com has a solution designed for those windows.

Door Window Shade

I attached a screen door grab bar at the top of the screen door and hang a towel from it to block the window. But www.zarcor.com has a solution designed for those windows.

I am a tight wad! I got one the roll down shades at walmart for car windows. Took the fabric clear off the roller, and fastened the fabric with 3 m tape on all 4 corners and stuck it to the window. Just leave it on all the time keeps the sun out but in the daytime you have a small amount of light filter in.

Thanks for all of the good suggestions. I'll let my DW decide which one to do.

Thanks again,

Ray

I installed the slim shade upside down. It slides down from the top. This way we slide it down a little bit to be able see out but no one can see in below eye level.

We have a winner! Lippert confirmed that we have the new 3000 series frameless window in our door and a Slim Shade or Thin Shade cannot be installed.

Seven dollars and literally fifteen minutes from opening the box and we have a shade. The Redi Shade is all paper and can be cut to fit with a pair of scissors. It has adhesive tape at the top to hold it up.

The inside of the 3000 series window is actually a double recessed oval, not rectangular. A little judicious angling of the bottom part of the Redi Shade and it fits perfectly. The Redi Shade is held up with two plastic clips and they just bump the screen a very small amount when the screen door is against the entry door.

The wrinkled part in the shade down picture is not visible normally. That part is recessed inside the oval. I circled those clips in the shade up picture. Because they're also black they're barely visible. Because the inside of the window is recessed there shouldn't be any problems with the wind blowing it out.

I was hoping to do this. Anything special that needs to be done, or just install it upside down?

Just bought the slim shade from Walmart for $66 plus tax and free shipping.

Installed it yesterday in about 1 hr. Easy if you read the instructions and watch the videos on YouTube
Nice

Yes its a great MOD. Wife says its great being able to see out now compared to the frosted original glass.
With the shade down it's really dark now.
I ordered mine from Walmart which was the cheapest around with free drop shipping from the company and got it in 3 days here in Arizona
