Onan has replaced the carbeurator end of the fuel line with an adaptor, not a fuel filter, and has changed to a new, larger, filter on the input side of the fuel pump.

I thought my fuel line was leaking, but it was a cracked filter. Lots'a people have reported this.

I have all the numbers if you can't find them, but have them right here.

This is on the 5500 only!

PM me if you can't find the numbers.

And the most important, the Factory Service Manual with excellent troubleshooting info!:
Onan 5500 Service Manual.pdf

It's almost 8-MB of PDF, but well worth it! Costs $40,00 to buy it!

The next question is, "How do you get that nasty gas smell off your hands?" Seems to linger for a day or more.
