I believe that switch briefly interrupts your motorhome marker lights. It's purpose is to alert large vehicles passing you (such as semi trucks) that it is safe for them to pull back into the lane in front to you. The switch has a name which unfortunately I cannot remember at the moment.

The acronym for the switch is “ICC”

It blinks your clearance lights. Only really visible at night.

Thanks, that is what I thought. You just can't see it from the drivers seat. I tried when at a gas fill up using the window of the building as a mirror and still could not see it. Having fun traveling.

If it is an ICC switch it only turns the clearance lights off and therefore they must be on (headlights on).

That's got to be a bummer because it is a momentary ON switch and you would have to drive and hold the switch in the ON position to illuminate your fog lights. Your switch is not the same.

The fogs on my truck are on a momentary switch. It resets to "off" when the truck is power cycled. It may be the same.

Except in this case, the fog light switch is right next to it LOL.

In recent decades....Since the auto industry has moved to symbols instead of the written word for switch functions.....it’s a learning curve to figure out symbols switches.

Not sure where the governing body is, if there even is one, but there still exists conflicts on some functions and how they are activated.

In this case, if you look at the original posting with the photos....you see two switches on the left, with what appears to have the shape of the light housing, and then there are “light rays” either long versus short, and pointing straight ahead versus angled down....sometimes with a line through the ray, indicating this controls a “fog” light versus a “driving light”.

Some switches are placed conveniently, some not. Personally, given where THIS OP has his “ICC” switch down by the HVAC controls, ....NOT handy!!!
