Looks like a pretty complete list. I installed a Blue Ox Tru Center Steering Stabilizer on my 2012 chassis. I tried the 160 pound unit which was what is used on gas chassis but moved up to the 230 pound unit with the larger tires and beefier 2012 has. It works extremely well at stabilizing the from and allows you to re-center the wheel to compensate for side and and road crown. Push a button and the pull disappears. The Sleep number bed has an RV Short model at CW.

How did you do the plexiglass?

Put it on the inside of the door with velcro. Keeps the rain and wind out but still have sunshine.

Thanks for the info...I'll be doing the same soon. Always hate to close the main door, like shutting out mother nature.

Finally got the basement mods finished with the awning sunshade storage racks installed and the ceiling suspended rolling chair rack. Even had room left to stow the outside television in the basement, so TOWTA should be happy.

Has anyone wired a switch inside your RV for the electric waterheater? Our gas switch is on the control panel indoors but the electric switch is outside. Any thoughts?

Took out old stereo we never used and replaced it with fabric storage boxes- convenient!
Converted toilet area storage cupboard space into TV area for 44" TV for living room. That put it up higher so people don't get in the way of viewing as much. I can still store towels and sheets behind the TV, too!
Since we live here permanently, we replaced the steps with wooden ones- only 25 bucks delivered!

One problem I want to fix- our queen bed mattress is of a silky material and keeps sliding around on the platform. That's ok for changing sheets, but not for sleeping. Ideas?

How do I attach Velcro to the mattress? From my experience the sticky kind doesn't stick well to fabric?

Dunno. Have to think about that....

Thanks

Use industrial strength Velcro.... Sew to mattress; staple to platform...

I've been considering doing this.
1. Find circuit breaker for electric hot water heater. (turn off LOL)
2. Run hot wire from CB to new switch (120 volt, 15 amp) on control panel.
3. From the new switch use the return wire in the romex (3 wire and ground 14 guage) back to the circuit breaker and attach to wire to the hot water heater. or you can run back to the hot water heater itself.

This is the basic circuit to add a switch inside for electric hot mater heater. All you are doing is adding a single pole switch to turn on and off. If you have a switch with a light you will use the white wire (neutral) back to the electric panel and common neutral buss.

Problem is its almost impossible to wire anything new because everything is very difficult to pull apart and gain access
