What New Mods Have you Done
Just wondering what new mods has everyone done to there motorhome, or planning to do. I'll start by: we added Rope lighting in the Bedroom and did woodwork along either side of the coach with rope lighting inside. Makes it nice at night not so bright. Also did woodwork on the ceiling to break up the all white ceiling. Looking at caring it over into the bedroom. Just added the RV quick shades on the front windshield and side windows. Will get some pictures posted once someone explains how, lol. Interesting to see what else individuals have done.

Dirt Devil Central Vacuum cleaner system (will install in a week)
Jack HD antenna (will install in week)
Blue OX TigerTrac rear stabilizer (installed and love it)
SteerSafe front steering Stabilizers (installed and love it)
I'm now working on changing water to gasoline so I can travel because I can't afford the gas.
That's enough for now cause I have to interview for a job today so I can pay for all this stuff.

Installed light dimmer for the over couch lights and a dimmer in the light fixture over the dining table. Installed the "lazy man's remote awning control circuit". Installed A-B switch circuitry for the carryout sat antenna to allow either sat antenna or park cable input.

Had the LCI steps removed and replaced with Kwikee steps. Definitely an upgrade.

I forgot to add the Expanded Queen Sleep Number Bed, Bose System for the TV, replaced the furniture with his and her recliners, end table and coffee table. Planning to enclose the screen door with plexi-glass so we can keep the door open and not lose the heat or A/C and keep the view.

Sleep number? Now we are talking! How did you expand the queen? When we had our TT I made a slide out for the support and we stuffed pillows on the head part. That one also had a queen bed, but a much shorter one. The one in our coach is better, but wouldn't mind having it a little bit longer. When you get used to sleeping in a Cali king, it's hard to go smaller. LOL

Not a real mod but another use for a mod yet to be done.
I found out that the bucket for a bucket light that I have not made yet makes a good stand for the pink stuff jug.
Pickup tube is right at the bottom when inside the jug.

Go to Lowes/HD and get the wireless doorbell and remote push button for around $20. I installed one and had Bomb Doc rig it for Turbs. Actually had two buttons, one for "Turbs" and one for "Others". Ask ol FT Turbs, it really worked as he really got a "jolt".

You do know what Turbs means?
Look it up as TURB, singular

My very first mod was a Progressive EMS-LCHW50C RV surge/high voltage/wrong wiring/etc. protector. Did that in the first week.
Later: a new memory foam mattress, replace halogen interior bulbs with LEDs, Fumoto valve at the first oil change, curtain rod with drapes behind the front seats, valve on fresh water tank overflow tube, black-out fabric on the bedroom window curtains, hot water heater electric switch wired to kitchen area, insect screens for the furnace, screen door bar, new bedroom TV on swing out mount, Roku box. There's probably a few more I missed...
This week I start a big project by adding two 140 watt solar panels on the roof which will allow us to boondock longer without running the generator.

Getting her ready
Well I've only had my A127th about 3 weeks but you know how the new baby gets all the presents, well she's no different.
Two memory foam 3" mattress pads, going to fold them behind the couch back to move it out so my 6'8" husband can sit there.
Camp Chef Weekender. Hot stuff, can't wait to fire it up breakfast this Saturday.
Door holder and seat lid holder thanks to great advise I got here..
Honda eu2001 for the beautiful but powerless places in the world.
10 piece Magma nesting stainless steel cookware.
New bed pillows
The over the stove shelf from Walmart my fellow A Framers recommended
Throw rugs
As you can see she quite spoiled but we love her.

Alparmmer on our expanded queen sleep number it is from our brick and stick home. Had to remove both night stands to give enough room for it to fit. Walking around the bed is a little tight but we don't mind. Its regular length for a house but Approx. 8" wider than a queen. One of the best mods, to date...
