wheel skids

I am a recent owner of a 2009 Georgetown 350 TS and am having trouble backing into my driveway. She seems to have a big butt! I can get in my driveway if I add blocks to drive up, but it is getting to be kind of a pain in the rear. Does anybody have wheel skids? I have heard good and bad things. I was thinking of those or building some kind of ramps. All info is appreciated.
