When I stop at a flying j I stay on the RV side. They have a few spots for RV's. If the employees don't have their cars in them!! I've never stayed in the truck lot. Too noisy out there.

I think we covered this topic pretty good. Stay, don't stay, pay, or freebie, to each their own. On the Walmart topic, try this approach, since one poster said there are 6,200 of them, and there is an app that list NP Wallys, plan on pulling in, rent a redbox movie, pick up some roaster chicken (hot) some quick sides on the stove, kick back and relax. All in, you might drop $15 bucks. Return the movie in the am, and break camp. No plans, no reservation, just please do, stock up on essentials you need at the time, to return their hospitality. Just sayin'

It was raining when we pulled in and just wanted to park for the night. Did not see any electric outlets. Ran the generator for a while and shut it down for the night. Still raining now.

We stayed at a Flying J awhile back and the manager said she would prefer us to park out front instead of in with the trucks...she said we would be more comfortable....but she was ok either way. fitz
