Where is hot water heater by pass valve
We have a 2014 Georgetown XL 360DS. We cannot find the hot water heater by-pass valve for winterization. Anyone know where it is? This is the bath and 1/2 model.

Have a look underneath your coach where water heater is and see if you have an access plug.....

By-pass
I have a 2008 370 Georgetown bath and a 1/2 and I access the bypass valve thru the panel behind the propane tank.

In the Windjammer, we have to remove all drawers underneath the sink in the kitchen to access the bypass valve. They decided to make it real easy!! Something to ask next time before choosing a TT. Good luck with yours!!

There is a removable panel behind the water heater in our trailer. Once it is taken out, the valves are easily accessible.

We called Forest River and found the access under the hot water heater under the motorhome.

I have a 3008W and it is two drawers to remove. Quite easy and fast! My last trailer I had to unscrew access panels.

No, it was under the motorhome, outside, through an access hole.

When you look at your water heater panel from the outside of the unit. lay on your back look under the unit, you will see a white disk, about 4" in diameter. unscrew that disk and you will see the shut off and by pass valves about an arms length inside that disk. Now you will need a flashlight and don't empty the hot water bottle, or you'll be laying in a lot of water.

glad you found it, mine was behind the mud flap in the wheel well, and even after opening it, you could barely reach it.....sometimes I wonder what these people are thinking when they design this stuff

Now you have to open the water pump panel, slide the plastic door left, you'll see the clear hose with the metal cap, take the cap plug off. Just to the hose end of the pump is the hose suction valve. Open it. Stick the hose in the anti freeze bottle and then go in and turn on the pump. Once the pump is on , turn on every faucet, hot and cold one at a time until the pink anti freeze flows. Be sure someone is outside watching the bottle of anti freeze. Very easy job, takes two people. Oh yea the hose cap does not fit inside the anti freeze bottle. Different bottle or cut off the cap
